Terms & Conditions

  • We operate a non-aggression policy. Therefore we are unable  to admit any dog that shows signs of aggressive tendencies when in the presence of food and toys. We require that you sign a declaration that you are not aware of any  incidents where your dog has shown aggressive behaviour towards other dogs or people.

  • If during the course of the dogs time at Paws to Play, there are any signs of aggression shown, then we reserve the right to terminate the contract for the safety of your dog and others at the centre. 

  • We require all dogs over the age of 12 months to be neutered or spayed or provide a certificate of chemical castration.

  • We require all dogs to be fully vaccinated (including kennel cough) for a minimum of four weeks before they join the Centre. 

  • A copy of each dog’s vaccination record will be kept on file and updated annually.

  • All dogs that join Paws to Play must be in good health. 

  • When dogs interact there is a chance that injuries can occur, although all care is taken to avoid this scenario.  In the event of an injury,a  dogs may require to be taken to the a local veterinary clinic and any serious cases will be dealt with immediately by a local practice.  Any vet bills your dog may incur will be the responsibility of the owner.

  • If your dog has an infection that may be contagious we require you to notify Paws to Play immediately. We also require to be made aware of any longstanding ailments including food allergies and medical conditions. 

  • All dogs using Paws to Play must be on a flea and worming treatment.  We recommend that you seek the advice of your Vet for regularity.  

  • Legally, all dogs must wear a collar with a name-tag in public.  We will provide a tag for your dog and we are happy to be contacted in an emergency.

  • All owners are required to complete the online assessment/booking form and this will be kept on file.  We require you to keep Paws to Play informed as to any changes that may occur to ensure we can provide an excellent level of care for your dog.

  • To ensure a guaranteed place at Paws to Play we ask you to commit to a  minimum of one day each week in advance.  If you require to use Paws to Play on an adhoc basis then allow as much notice as possible.  All cancellations require 48 hours’ notice or a charge will apply.

  • Owners can drop off and collect their dogs at any time within opening hours.  Pick up must not be later than 6.00 pm or late fees will apply at the rate of £3 per half hour.

  • All dogs will remain on a lead until staff are confident that the dogs recall is adequate.  Prior written agreement from you the owner is also required.

  • In case of severe adverse weather conditions dogs may be returned home earlier than the scheduled time.  Customers will be contacted to collect dogs if no property keys are held.

  • At Paws to Play, only positive reinforcement, fair and kind methods are used. 

  • Paws to Play reserve the right to change or amend the above terms and conditions or to terminate the contract  at any time. We will inform you the client prior to any changes or amendments.
